Sanhoti Soccer is our year-round sports programme for the Bengali and Indian community of Orange County — regular pick-up games and friendly matches open to players of all levels through 2026.
Football is woven into Bengali identity in a way that needs no explanation to anyone who grew up with East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. Sanhoti Soccer exists to keep that alive here, and to give our community something that runs all year rather than only on festival days.
Sessions are casual and welcoming. Players of every standard turn out — from those who played competitively back home to parents returning to the game after twenty years, and teenagers growing up in Orange County who want to play with people who share their background. Families come to watch and make an afternoon of it.
Open to all ages and abilities, and to players of every background from across Orange County and Southern California. Sessions run every Sunday morning at 7:00 AM on the field at Jeffrey Trail Middle School in Irvine, and they are free — just turn up, or email [email protected] to be added to the group.
