Subhadeep rose to national attention as the runner-up of Indian Idol season 14, after winning Super Singer season 4 in Bengal. Trained in classical music — which he also taught in Kolkata before fame found him — he brings a rare combination to the stage: a genuine classical foundation, electrifying rock versatility, and the deeply soulful delivery that made audiences across India fall for his voice. The concert opens Sanhoti Durgotsav 2026 on Friday 9 October at the Robert B. Moore Theater, Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa — minutes from Irvine, Newport Beach and Santa Ana, with parking on campus.
